Two women.

 

 

 

 

 

They were born within three years of each other and died within three days of each other. One, a star of stage and screen, and the other, a star of the political stage. Time Magazine described one as an actress, temptress, and empress, and the other as a historic pioneer.

Elizabeth Taylor and Geraldine Ferraro – two women, both of whom were strong, ambitious, attractive, and articulate. Yet, as successful as they were, both experienced very public failures.
