Quotes About Real Love
February is thought of as the month of love, with Valentine’s Day taking center stage. But Cupid’s arrows have little to do with true love. You and I have the capacity for deep and abiding love because God first loved us (1 John 4:19). Because we are the recipients of supernatural love, we can love others with a sacrificial love beyond our own natural abilities.
So, in honor of that true, sacrificial love known in Greek as agape, here are some quotes for you to enjoy!

Very touching to read the “Four Chaplains”. Made me think these men knew where they would spend eternity, and by giving up their seats, they provided a the possibility of four other souls finding salvation before passing on from this life to the next. God’s soldier heroes!

Ava, thanks for compiling this great list. A few years ago, I put together a list of love quotes and used a few of the same ones you have here. Recently, when my husband and I were out of town filming for our YouTube channel, we found a little shop in Waynesville, NC where I purchase a shirt that said, “Love like Jesus.”
